Rural Wellness Guide

Contribute

We welcome clear, original proposals about rural wellbeing, countryside rhythms, seasonal attention, time outdoors and the shared life of rural places. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to understand the piece you have in mind.

What makes a good pitch

Tell us the subject, the reader's takeaway and the particular angle that makes your piece worth reading. Strong ideas are focused, grounded in everyday experience and useful without relying on a grand promise. A short outline is more helpful than a polished full draft sent without context.

Keep the scope clear

We are interested in reflective, concrete writing, not medical advice or sweeping claims about what country living can do. Make room for different rural experiences and say when an idea depends on a particular place or circumstance. Please disclose relevant commercial interests and tell us whether the proposal is original.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page to send your pitch. Include a working title, a concise summary and the main points you would cover. Please do not send confidential material or assume that an enquiry will be accepted for publication.

A point of view

Wellbeing belongs to a particular place

The countryside is not a cure-all or a backdrop. It is a living setting, shaped by weather, work, distance and the people who share it.
